Vera de Kell is one of the main antagonist of the second season of Het Huis Anubis. She is the original Dutch version of Vera Devenish and Daphne Rensen. She became the new (temporary) housemother of the Anubis house after Trudie went on a vacation. She works with Wolf for the love tomb. She is portrayed by Elle van Rijn.

When Trudie left Anubis house for a temporary vacation, Vera becomes the replacement housemother. Little did they know that Vera is the wife of Wolf Rensen, who is the current enemy (at this point, the club only knows it's Raven). He sends her to the house to closely spy on Victor (who he blackmailed) after the failed attempt of doing the ritual for the love tomb. When she came to the house, she pretends that she has the same interests with Victor, which worked and made an impression over the residents. All liked her, except Amber who was suspicious to her.
She keeps her 'kind' act while spying on Victor and some of the residents, especially when she notices some of them going down the cellar, and doing weird stuff. Despite her bad intentions of coming in the house, she rarely shows genuine kindness over Nienke who was gloomy due to her grandmother's worsening condition as she comforts her.
Vera spying on Noa
She also spies on Jeroen, who so far complies on Wolf's orders. However, she notices Noa's closeness to him and her persistence to know what he's been hiding from her. Eventually, Noa figures out that he's been having secret appointments with Wolf, which led him to look for something about her to keep her out of their business.
However, Wolf discovers from her file that she was originally from Cairo, Egypt. To confirm his new suspicion about the girl, he sends her to follow Noa. She does and took pictures of her appointment with an unknown man. This information led them to confirm that she is indeed the 'Chosen One'.
They were running out of time, so Wolf decided to kidnap her at night, where everyone is asleep. He calls her, saying it was urgent and he needs her immediate assistance. With this, she runs off from her 'date' with Victor and returned back to the house. She managed to render her unconscious with the help of a substance from a bottle (chloroform) that she accidentally left on the floor. She helps Wolf enter the room from the window to continue with the kidnapping. They were temporarily stopped by Amneris, who she is scared of, but successfully gets her out of the house even before Amber and Appie entered the room.
Noa confronts her about releasing Jeroen's father when she checks up on her after being locked up. She vaguely answers that Wolf is doing his best, not assuring the girl if they would even do it. It is proven that they wouldn't when she is overheard by Jeroen while she was talking to Wolf over the phone inside the castle.
During the night of the love tomb 'ritual', she runs to the castle to hopefully help Wolf and guard the tower. But she catches the club going for the tower's direction to stop him. She chases them, and temporarily gets hands her on Amber before being pushed by Appie, as they continued to run. She catches up on them and quickly guards the tower door before being distracted by Amber who she runs after, which led the club to gain entrance inside the tower. She wasn't able to enter the tower as the club temporarily barricaded the door.
Just as the club got inside the tower where Wolf, Noa and Jeroen is, Vera quickly catches up and hits Appie on the back with a pitchfork, and uses it to keep the club from interfering. After Noa is forced to do the 'ritual' after Wolf started hurting Jeroen, Amneris is summoned and is reunited with Tutankhamun. Wolf gives the grail to Amneris, but she curses both Wolf and Vera, saying they don't have pure hearts. Wolf 'disappears', which scares Vera, and fled on the scene, never seen again.
