John Sackville plays one of the major characters in Season 3 of House of Anubis, as Robert Frobisher-Smythe. Robert's job for the Ceremony is The Sleeper and he is the object of the Ceremony, and the main plot of the first half of Season 3 is to awaken Robert from the deep sleep that he is in throughout the half (Since Season 3's title, "The Reawakening").
John Sackville studied at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Many famous people graduated from there including Minnie Driver, Hugh Bonneville, Matthew Goode, and Julian Fellowes. Sackville was awarded the McEuen Rosebowl for Acting for the title role in Hamlet at the Scottish Student Drama Festival. After his training, Sackville began leading roles in high profile regional theatre. These included Pitlochry Festival Theatre, York Theatre Royal, Nuffield Theatre Southampton, and Watermill Theatre. Sackville's other major theatre productions included Hamlet for Oxford Stage Company, Othello and Volpone for the Royal Shakespeare Company, leading roles in Stephen Daldry's National Theatre production of An Inspector Calls, the title role in Lord Arthur Savile's Crime for UK theater producer Bill Kenwright, the Winslow Boy at the Rose Theatre in Kingston, A Man For All Seasons at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, and the lead role in Party at theArts Theatre in the West End.
