Hubert Altrichter is the headteacher of the Alexander von Humboldt school that the Das Haus Anubis residents attend. He also teaches Science and is known to be very strict. He is married to Doris, one of the teachers at the school. He is in on what happened to Linn. The original, Dutch version of him is Ari van Swieten and his English/American version is Eric Sweet. He is portrayed by Ulrich Cyran.
Season 1[]
As the Grand Master of the Brotherhood, Mr. Altrichter is responsible for destroying the traces of Linn in the school. It even goes so far that he has them cut out of the class photos. Luzy notices that nobody wants to admit that Linn ever existed. She keeps confronting Mr. Altrichter with it. But he keeps talking himself out. But when Mr. Petkovic asks him about Linn, he is still lying for the time being, but after a second confrontation he tells him the truth. Therefore Luka is accepted into the brotherhood only a little later.
He also takes his job as teacher and director very seriously and always tries to represent the school in a good sense. So he is very committed to making the musical a success. So he shows Mr. Şahin only the best of school in order to get a donation for the musical. With success.
On the evening of the premiere everything went according to plan and he is now trying to impress the school councilor. Here too with success. Only during the performance it turns out that Linn has sneaked into the audience. Immediately the brotherhood wants to bring them to safety and when Nina discovers them, Mr. Altrichter speaks out and claims that Linn is his niece.
When he realizes that Ms. Engel can't stand the pressure with Linn and the kidnapping of Luzy, he puts her on leave. Instead, the substitute teacher, Ms. Chandrani, comes in, who he is less sympathetic to. When Mr. Altrichter found out about the planned handover between Rufus and Mrs. Engel, he was furious and wanted to break it off. In the end he makes sure that Linn moves again before the handover takes place.
In the school there is also the student representative election and each applicant gets a teacher of their choice by their side. After Delia quickly decides on Mr. Petkovic, Mara, Mr. Altrichter. After a few laps and friction, Mara wins.
Only a few weeks later, Victor tells him about his suspicions, about the treasure in the Anubis house. Mr. Altrichter doesn't believe him for the time being, but then lets himself be infected by the treasure fever when he hears that it could be the Grail. He helps Victor by letting the residents sleep at school after the mouse plague and ensures that they stay at school, which he doesn't always manage. So he is locked in his office by Nina, Daniel and Luzy. On the evening of the school ball, he and Victor storm the Anubis house to take the Grail from the club. But even that without success. When Mr. Altrichter arrives back at school, he is stopped there by Ms. Engel.
Season 2[]
Mr. Altrichter came in the class and to tell Nina about the news about her grandmother, he allow her to leave to go to the hospital to see her grandma, when Daniel was also leaving, he allow to let him leave to assist Nina.
Now he cares more about the school and his students. When Per Marant came to him one day, he was shocked at the news that one of his students had broken into the antique shop. He tries to clear this case, but in the end everything clears up by itself when Daniel explains that it was him.
He got an interview from Charlotte and Max for school newspaper, after the interview, he suggest the name of their newspaper and which Charlotte agrees.
While preparing for a dance competition, he and Ms. Engel get closer and closer, which the students also notice. But they still claim that they only practice for the dance competition. When the message in the first issue of the school newspaper that Ms. Engel and Mr. Altrichter are flirting with each other, she is furious because the school councilor also reads it. Even before Mr Altrichter can say anything, the school administrator laughs. She thinks it's a joke and is enthusiastic about the school newspaper.
Mr. Altrichter is happy to report to his class about the physics competition. He himself has already won this competition and now it should take place at his school. To this end, he wants to introduce his best students Charlotte and Daniel to the main judge, Brükkelmann. Unfortunately, these arrive too late and cannot leave a good impression. In the competition everything goes better until it emerges that Nina has sneaked into the competition. Since Daniel runs after her when she runs away, he should be disqualified. But Mr. Altrichter and Professor Brükkelmann can prevent that and Daniel and Charlotte win the competition.
During the competition, Mr. Altrichter meets Max and Luzy, who are flirting heavily with each other, in his office. Unexpectedly, he reacts completely relaxed. Later it turns out that Mr. Altrichter is Max's father.
At the end of the season, Mr. Altrichter drives to an amusement park with Mrs. Engel, Luzy, Max, Kaya and Charlotte. They want to stay there overnight. Mr. Altrichter uses this chance and proposes to Mrs. Engel. She is totally surprised and disappears a short time later. Mr. Altrichter is very sad about it. But some time later, Ms. Engel comes back in her wedding dress. The two married just a few days later.
