Mrs. Louisa Frobisher-Smythe was the mother of Sarah Frobisher-Smythe and the wife of Robert Frobisher-Smythe.
She and Robert were known Egyptolagists- an archaeologist that focuses only on Egyptian relics. She was murdered (very likely by Victor Sr) along with her husband. She, along with her husband and her daughter were finally put to rest when Nina assembled the Cup of Ankh in the Season 1 finale.
Louisa and Robert were members of Howard Carter's expedition into the tomb of King Tutankhamen in the 1920s, and they were believed to have taken artifacts from the tombs but when they were sentenced, they pleaded guilty and were proven innocent by the majority of votes in court. However even after all the evidence had been gathered, those few that had not voted for the pardon to be denied, still believed that Louisa and Robert were guilty and had stolen the artifacts.
Later in the seasons it is revealed that they did indeed take the Cup of Ankh and the Mask of Anubis, as well as many other artifacts, from King Tut's tomb and hid them in the house. They made it so the artifacts could only be found if you were clever enough to follow the clues. They did this so that the artifacts would not be found and used for evil purposes and so they succeeded in keeping the cup and the mask safe from dangerous hands like Rufus Zeno.
In Season 1, you see Sarah having flashbacks of her parents. Louisa was a talented artist and is known for making a replica of the Mask of Anubis, which her husband put at the end of the tunnels instead of the real mask. The mask that was in the exhibition that was believed to be the replica was in fact the real mask.
Victor Rodenmaar Sr. threatened his son, Victor Rodenmaar Jr., saying that he would put him up for adoption if he didn't find out where the treasure that Louisa and Robert shared was. Young Victor was a friend of the Frobisher-Smythes and usually ate dinner with them. Louisa liked him and encouraged him to eat more. Louisa was Robert's second wife. Also Louisa might have been part of Amneris' bloodline because her daughter was. This might explain how Nina could see her as a ghost, if Nina could see people of the same bloodline.
